Rules of order don’t need to be complicated! In this session, we’ll tackle the most common questions about motions and rules of order, helping you master the essentials for smooth boardroom operations.
Thursday, August 14th: The Role of the Board in Monitoring & Reporting
Understand the control side of governance by learning how to effectively monitor and report on performance. We’ll cover how to measure progress against goals, evaluate risks and opportunities, and use scorecards and dashboards to communicate results.
Friday, August 15th: The Role of the Board in Communication & Innovation
Boards often cross the line between governance and operations when it comes to communication and innovation. This session will clarify the board's role in connecting with stakeholders, driving innovation, and ensuring transparency and accountability in governance practices.
