February 13^th | The Governance Role of the Governance Professional
This session covers the essential governance role of the governance professional, including the board’s needs, the executive team’s expectations, and the legal and reporting frameworks that support effective governance.

February 20^th | The Strategic Role of the Governance Professional
We will focuses on the strategic role of the governance professional in shaping the organization’s governance approach, advocating for the board with management, and supporting the Board Chair in facilitating effective communication between the board and management.

February 27^th | The Administrative Role of the Governance Professional
Let’s explore the administrative role of the governance professional, including agenda preparation, minute taking, managing board meetings and In-Camera sessions, and utilizing board portals effectively.

March 6^th | The Governance Effectiveness and Process Role of the Governance Professional
This session focuses on the governance professional’s role in enhancing governance effectiveness, including developing governance manuals, supporting board processes and evaluations, and fostering a positive boardroom culture.

March 13^th | The Recruitment, Onboarding, and Education Role
We will cover the governance professional’s role in board recruitment, onboarding, and education, focusing on building board capacity, promoting diversity, and supporting ongoing board development.

March 20^th | The Interactive Role with Directors and Senior Management
Let’s explore the interactive role of the governance professional in advising directors and senior management, ensuring legal compliance, facilitating information flow, and enhancing communication and negotiations.

Don’t worry! Replays, handouts, and presentations are available on your materials page for one year after the course.

Cancellation Policy: The registration fee is non-refundable for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the program’s first live session. In this case, you may either transfer your registration fee, once, to a similarly priced seminar future training course, or arrange for a substitute person to attend. Those who do not cancel and do not attend are responsible for the full registration fee. Governance Solutions reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and will give notice in advance.
